Welcome to Helping Hands Mission Camp!

————–

Like everyone, we are closely monitoring the ongoing crisis in our world and watching it impact virtually every aspect of our lives providing so many uncertainties.
There are so many variables that impact the organization of Helping Hands such as the preparation of our worksites, overall organization of camp, the availability of volunteers, fundraising activities, and much more.  This takes months of preparation.  We also need to consider the financial impact this crisis is having on our families and our churches, and the ability to secure volunteers who may not be able to take time off from work.
Unfortunately, the Executive Board had to make a very difficult decision not to offer our 2020 Annual Helping Hands Mission Camp this summer.  It is our utmost priority to provide safety for our campers, volunteers, and homeowners.
Helping Hands my not sponsor camp this year, however, there are other organizations that could use your help.

We are looking and considering other ways to serve our community during the COVID-19.   Please stay tune!

We absolutely look forward to seeing you for our 17th Annual Helping Hands in July, 2021.

God is all knowing!   He is knows our past, present, and future faults and failures.
And He still loves us!!!!

Who we are:

Helping Hands Mission Camp is a Christ-centered, youth-focused, multi-denominational community service mission for rising 6th graders – 12th graders.

Each summer we hold a week-long mission camp in Gloucester County, Virginia to help others with home repairs.

Youth campers are placed on teams with adult mentors and learn how to do the work necessary to complete their projects.   We work hard during the day and play hard at night with lively worship services and fun activities.

All meals, accommodations, activities and a camp t-shirt are included in the fee.

We provide “free” daycare for our adult volunteers.

The Mini Mission kids will participate in VBS style activities in the morning. In the afternoon, the 3rd through 5th graders will go out & work on mission projects.  It is an experience that will change your life.

This week is an opportunity to share fellowship with other Christians.

Please pray for us as we prepare for our 15th year of serving God through serving others.

Helping Hands Mission Camp relies on donations to purchase the supplies necessary to complete the projects we have each summer.  These site supply funds allow us to help our clientele without cost to them.

We also accept donations to provide scholarships to campers.
